 Kumbhalgarh Fort Rajasthan


Built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha of Sisodia Dynasty Kumbhalgarh massive and majestic fortress is an architectural masterpiece one of its kind. It is constructed on a hill top 1,100 m (3,600 ft) above sea level on the Aravalli range and its perimeter about 36 km offering it to be second longest wall in the world.
The premises of fort has 360 temples, gardens, step wells “baoris”, rooms with “jharokhas” with views to die.

The destination of the fort is Badal Mahal which is the peak point and offers an amazing, grand and natural view of Aravali range, Mewar and Marwar Area with a beautiful sunset view. The architecture of the fort is really remarkable and the walk around it takes you back in time to the royal era gone by. The fort also houses some of the palaces which are simply magnificent.
